The IBBJ shall continuously monitor and keep you the African American taxpayer informed with reference as to how well state agencies in Illinois are actively participating in a diverse culture regarding HIRING, DISCIPLINARY and PROMOTION practices within these state agencies. Remember, state jobs are CAREERS that reaps many benefits, including, but not limited to such as tremendous health care plans and pensions.
It is important to know that these are your tax dollars that are being spent for GOODS and SERVICES these state agencies are committed to employ for the safety and wellbeing of the state of Illinois and its citizens. Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is not a handout, it is your right as taxpaying citizen to participate in the spending and monitoring of those dollars. You are within your rights to know, with whom and what, the tax dollars are purchasing.
Therefore, according to all applicable state and federal laws, it is unlawful to collect tax dollars in it nondiscriminatory fashion, but spend the aforementioned dollars in a discriminatory fashion, rather intentionally or unintentionally.
Remember it is your right, not a privilege to participate in the spending of your tax dollars.
